What’s up with this weather? Wind, hailstones, rain and now…glorious sunshine! I gambled on being too cold and went out in just a t shirt. The warm up walk was not at all warm and I nearly went back to grab a jacket but it was the right decision.
It was just a really lovely run today. Blue skies, bunnies, birds singing, lambs frolicking and…banging loud dance music. Perfect! It was one of those where it felt great for almost the whole time, including powering up a hill feeling like a super hero.
Roll on week 6 of the Magic programme. Hopefully it will be as good to me as week 5!

Apart from some rural traffic (people on horses!), yes! It’s lovely when those come around. This week I had one that was just hard work, one in the high winds and one super nice one. I’ll take that!
Thanks, it really was great. The only downside was that it ended up back at my house rather than a cafe. Luckily, I decided it was time to drive the route of the 10K I’m doing in June which ends near a fantastic tea room. I felt a bit faint after seeing the size of the hill halfway round but some pear crumble cake sorted me out.
Great run. The weather IS really weird at the mo' - weather app on my phone is usually fairly accurate, but the last few days it has been way off, for example telling me there was almost no chance of rain when it was hammering down, and telling me it was freezing when it was quite mild!
