Semi Jeffing 5K

Still building up so did a 5K yesterday. I call it semi jeffing as I walked 20m or so every 5 minutes or so just to ensure I wasn't running through ny injuries again. I got just under 45 minutes so that proves I'm on my way. I'm aiming for 7 or 8K on Saturday. Two days rest might be ideal for that then another 2 says off. Have to do some strengthening tomorrow. No excuses like work to hold me back. It's been hectic.

Sounds like a good plan! Should keep you from the IC! I always Jeff my runs, I walk 30 seconds every 4:30 minutes. A long ratio in terms of Jeffing, but I like it this way. Keep up the good work!

Steady progress there 👍

Good luck for Saturday’s Run. 2 days recovery is a good idea too...I found I needed them once I was doing longer distances.

I love reading of the different ways people use this technique, I know one person who runs one KM, walks 1 KM. I tried a few different ratios and found 2 mins running 1 min walking suited me. 60/30 didn't give enough recovery.
