Last posted here 24 days ago, since then been reading all your inspiring news and achievements plus also just quietly consolidating and building up after two stints on the injury couch during Sept/Oct. (Ironically none of which was running related).

Been out 3 times this week with a 4, 5 and 6k and now feel ready to restart my 10k plan. Going ahead with Ju Ju’s timed Magic Plan starting at week 4 and then hopefully transferring to the distance version after completion.

As the title says cold and sunny, a very welcome day after the last week of rain and more rain 💦💦. I chose a local cycle track as it’s fairly level and easy and a complete change from my usual wind farm trails that are like going for a boggy paddle in places 😂 at the moment.

Huge thanks to all my VRB’s for getting me through this time and now hopefully back on track.

Happy running all and let’s hope for some great running weather, after all it’s the one of the things that will help us through these times.

J.

Well done Hareshaw- Granny. It has been a bit dryer weather wise which is good . I don't mind the rain when running but the dog is unimpressed on his walks. Happy running 😊😊

Thanks, my little gran doggie Monty who is living with me till Christmas also hates the rain, makes it a bit difficult for walkies. 👍

Great return to running Hareshaw-Granny hopefully no more injuries 👍

Thank you, although still trailing in your wake, don’t know if I’ll ever make 10 miles or HM. Think I’ll settle for 10k 👍🏃‍♀️.

That’s what I thought until I ran 10K a few times! You can’t help thinking ‘I’m sure I could run just a few more kilometres’ 😂

Love it🤣. In reality sadly no, just as above the cycle lane on the old A77. 🚴, certainly had to avoid plenty of them.
