Well I did it, and a week earlier that the 60 min magic plan!!! Typical it was peeing down and windy and bloody hard work, but I was determined to do it and get my badge!! Been an awful week, one of my elderly dogs had a seizure on Monday, Tues I gave blood which didn't go as well as it should and a really stressful work week, resulting in me working from 7am to 10om last night, so not the best frame of mind to do my run this morning but I'm a stubborn and determined Capricorn, so I was doing it regardless!!
Thanks again to Coach Bennet and Kipchoge the marathon king, They both got me through it with their enthusiasm and motivation. Can't believe that 6 months ago I couldn't run 5 mins without thinking I was dying. I just love running now!!! Oh and the reason I went over the 60 mins I wanted to make sure I'd definitely done it, as last time I thought I'd done it, it was only 58mins!!ππββοΈπββοΈπππππ

Thank you, was just determined to do it! 10k magic plan next!! My fur baby seems ok at the moment. She's 12 next week, so just keeping an eye on her.πββοΈππΆ
Aww bless π₯° my oldest dog is almost 10 and he's had fits on and off since he was 3 but he's fine otherwise. Keeping all our fingers and paws crossed for herπΎπΎ
Hiya, 10k magic plan now! Hips sound painful, is that from running or do you suffer with them? Sometimes I get sore hips and think I need to do more stretching and strengthening work. I too find yoga really helps, so hope you feel better soon.πββοΈ
Thanks! It's running that has made my left hip bad. I overdo it sometimes, and don't notice until the run is finished. We can't do too much stretching & strengthening
I seem to be doing a mixture of distance & time on the magic plan. My longest run so far is 47mins & 7k. Can't imagine ever running for a whole hour!!
Hey neither could I, but I just thought I'll keep going and if it gets too hard, I'll go slower. I only managed 8.5km but it's a start. I think at your rate you would easy do 8km quicker than me.
Today I felt a couple of twinges in my back and I'd changed insoles in my running shoes, so wondering if they weren't as good support. I look forward to reading your post when you do 60 mins, reckon it's not far off!!πββοΈπ
Well done HH123. I did exactly the same thought Iβd run for 60 minutes but was only at 59. But we get there in the end. Really well done itβs a great achievement. Iβm still trying to get back to 60 minute runs after having a break. But enjoy the glory of running for 60 minutes. ππππππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Thank you, yes was determined to ensure it was 60 or more in my case! π. I did 8.5 km so I'm confident I can get to 10km within a couple of weeks, fingers crossed!!πββοΈπββοΈ
