I ran my second 10k last week and so I had a route in mind for this weeks one. After lots of procrastination due to tiredness and the wind I finally got out of the front door. Armed with my decision to run slow I’m off.

I think I’ll try and cover 7 miles in the hope that is about 11k. Audiobook on and feeling really comfortable HR 10 bpm slower than usual at around 135. Check my watch when I think I should be near 6.25 miles oh it’s not even 6 let’s change route I really want to get to 7 miles.

Check watch what’s going on why am I going so much further off route. Oh well, keep going.

Really watch what are you telling me? Fishes phone out of pocket 8 miles 🤓 oh I guess I can stop now 😂

Accidental 13k feel better about the HM I signed up for in February. Would have got a 5k pb but took a call and slowed right down while fiddling to get watch and headphones to sync ended up running with one arm in front of my face😊.

Love the long runs so peaceful.

Thank you 😊 I hope so, got to make sure to foam roll and keep on top of the stretching and hopefully should be good but still another 9k on top to HM..

I work in miles so 5 to add on and in all honesty you will be ready to do this long before February. This run sounded good. Well done 👏👏

I love it! Accidental long runs are the best! Just following your instinct! I posted about my accidental 11.5k this morning. Isn't it great! My friend had asked me to do a 10 mile road 'race' in February. I don't do sociable running 😂 but might give it a go. Definitely something in the air as a lot of peopke did long runs this morning

Excellent, I think it might be because it’s nice and cool so temperature regulation is not as big a problem 😉

Well you got out there when you weren't really feeling it and then turned it into a great run. Fantastic!
