Question, How Many

Hi, I am 69 ๐๐๐ปโโ๏ธ

Hi, thanks for showing those of us approaching 60 that we have "a lifetime " of running ahead of us๐ . Do you know that in many races age classifications put you in super veterans at 50 for men and 45 for women - I guess you must be in the " phenomenal runner" category, well done. happy running ๐ค

This is the only place where I have actually owned up to my age (67) - usually I just mumble something and change the subject! But it seems to be a place where people are proud to be running at all ages so I decided if you canโt beat them, join them and own it! But I still donโt understand how I got to be 67 - last time I checked I was organising my 40th!!๐ณ
Hello Youngster, Oh yes time flys. I get a kick out of sometimes passing younger runners with the cry " Old guy coming thru " Its the look of total horror on there faces with I love. So enjoy your seniority. From my point of view I have no choice but to grow older, enjoying the process is the trick and I think running helps.๐

Hi Hamit, I'll be 66 next week! (How did that happen?)

69, whichever way you look at it ๐

Definitely a youngster at just 65!๐
Hi Hamit! Great question- Just recently turned 69 and my husband is 71 (C25K has been a godsend for us). I do like the terms โsenile delinquentโ and โphenomenal runnerโ โค๏ธ. We are also trying to learn how to sail. Youโve been and continue to be an inspiration on the forum.

Iโm 65, just three weeks off my 66th birthday. Not quite sure how that happened! Iโm just pleased to be chugging along!

Hi Youngster, keep on running
Hi Hamit.
I'm 73! I'm glad you asked. I've been curious to know if I'm the eldest on here.

Hi Hamit.
This senile delinquent will be 73 next month.

Iโm 65 and only started running at 63. My favourite comment as I run past people is โold enough to know betterโ and best response was โand young enough not to careโ!! I love parkrun because of the age grading ๐คฃ
