B210k week5run1 ✔️

Felt really odd today, because it seemed like I’d taken a step backwards on my run. Last week was 3 lots of 18 mins running with 1 mins of walking between. So 56mins total which I extended to 58 mins and an hour on the last 2 in order to get to 7k.

But this week it is 3 different runs and today’s was 2 lots of 22 mins with 1 min walk between and that’s only 45 mins and it actually seemed really short. So I did carry on for 1 more minute to round the distance up to 5.6k. And the actual running didn’t seem so hard as the last 2 runs I’ve done. AND my pace was better too so perhaps I’m getting somewhere. My last 2 runs I just seemed to be getting slower and slower. 🤣🤣

I have had 2 good sleeps now though and I’m sure that makes all the difference for me. And I’m making sure to hydrate well. And it was a beautiful morning- but chilly to start with but I soon warmed up. And I’m glad I went early as it’s nearly 24 degrees here now. Schorchio!!! 🥵🥵

The next one is 2 runs of 25 mins and the 3rd one is 2 runs of 30 mins. So we’ll see how THAT goes!!

Happy running folks!!

It's good your pace was quicker on the shorter ones and although I'm not familiar with the plan you are on, the times seem to be right in the way they alternate. It's common for the same distance to have similar times so mixing it up is great! Good luck on the two 30 mins. You'll cover some ground there!

It’s the Audiofuel plan, on the Podcasts. I used it once before and I used Jujus plan another time

Fantastic progress for you today, well done. Sounds like a grand plan you are on. Glad you got running before the real heat came. I ran in 18deg 1st thing - need cooler clothes 🤣 happy running 🤗

Yeah it was 9 degrees when I went out. Was gonna meet my daughter for a walk but we decided against it.

Your plan is paying off limberlou and the fact you had better sleep for 2 nights in a row.

Enjoy the rest of your day 🌞🌞🌞🌞

Sounds like you’re making really good progress there.

Glad to hear you have had some good sleeps now, and you’re wise to set off before the heat ☀️

Yes it has been way too hot for me. It said highs of 24 in the forecast but it was 32 in my back garden for at least 4 hours - I was in the shade I hasten to add. So glad I ran early 🥵🥵
