Sometimes you need to take things slowly.

I had a plan that over the summer I would follow Jo Jo’s magic plan and bridge to 10k. But I have decided to defer until next year. I am now running a slow but consistent 5k and need to do more consolidation. I was thinking Worcester’s 10k in September would be a good goal. I am still going to aim for that but for 2021.

You can defer Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan until next year as I have a funny feeling that the way things are going that Worcester 10K like other Autumn events which could also be The Great North Run will be cancelled for 2020 due to 'social distancing'for the next 9 months in some form or another, what they are now calling "the new normal"

If we do get to France this summer I will still take you round the lake though (6.4k round the long end)😂

Sounds like a plan Shakes. I consolidated for ages before I went on the plan. One day I had to drop off eldest kittens swimming kit in town and just kept on going and going and before I knew it I was home having done 7.5km, so I started the plan half way through. You may find it creeps up on you like that when you’ve just not wanted to stop. It’s good to not pressurise yourself with targets sometimes.
