I did a 10k yesterday and there were lots of very steep hills. By yesterday afternoon the top of my left foot was really hurting. From reading online (dangerous I know) I think I have extensor tendonitis.
I have rested, iced & elevated today. I also did some gentle calf stretches & foot flex exercises.
But just wondered if anyone had any further suggestions to help with my speedy recovery.
I really need to be able to get out to exercise during this unprecedented time we are all living in.

Sorry to hear that, we especially need running at this time, don’t we? I’m no expert, but I had tendonitis in my foot when I was doing the C25k. I had physio and I’m afraid it did take a while to heal. The key things I was told were the calf stretches, making sure I had shoes with enough room (I didn’t) and enough support, keeping it mobile, and then after a couple of weeks of rest, I could go running for short periods, stopping if it hurt. Of course, your foot might need different! Might be worth checking your shoes though. Good luck, hope it heals soon. Stay safe
