Short run today . Got to the end of the run ready to stop the watch and realised I hadn't even started it. That's a first π
Forgot to start the Garminππ: Short run... - Bridge to 10K
Forgot to start the Garminππ
oops π
I dread doing that. It's almost like it's not real if it's not on Strava π€£
O dear, nevertheless you enjoyed your run today Buddy34, parkrun tomorrow. π
Oh dear. I hate it when that happens. The other week I only realised it wasn't logging my run after several minutes of running, and I "had" to carry on running further at the end until I'd clocked the right number of minutes. π
How annoying! πππ
ohhh no! you could manually add it just for your records
π€£π€£ Iβd do something like that ! Iβve only remembered once to map my run !! π€£π€£
Youβre not alone - at 2 of my (few) Parkruns Iβve been running for a while before remembering I hadnβt pressed the button! Drat!
Gasp! don't let old floss see this or it's smacked wrists! π
I have on occasion mistakenly pressed the wrong button instead of the the start button! π
So smacked wrists for me to! π
ππ
I've heard people saying 'don't forget to stop the garmin ' not startπ
Have forgotten to turn it off a few times. π
Are you doing PR. tomorrow?
I have family that live in Troon..
I would have been mad if I hadn't started it on Monday as it was my first ever 8k and yes Parkrun tomorrow π€
Maybe you're mixing me up with someone else, I don't live in Troon π
I never said you did, but you live in Scotland?
Apparently there's a lovely Parkrun at Troon, wondered if you had done it, hope to do it next time I'm up that way visiting family which isn't often.
So sorry I thought you thought I lived in Troon.
Think I've been through Troon on way to Ayr.
I've only done Drumpiellier parkrun would like to do others . Especially the one up at Oban- Ganavan Sands parkrunππ
Very nice! Have only done the Whisky distillery at Oban.π·π€’π
Have done 10 different Parkruns in South East of the UK..
it's good to do some Parkrun tourism.. I know someone who does a different one every week, usually without fail, his work takes him all over the UK so is ideal for touring round..
Know that feeling, keep calm and carry onππ
π Glad it wasnβt one of those record breaking runs. Amazing how attached we are to our gadgets π€£
Hello Annieapple how are you are you back in the UK yet π€
Home next Wed thanks Buddy34 About to do my Friday run. Lots of snow and ice but hopefully pavements might be well salted. I did a fab 5.83k on Monday Strength & Flex post) in beautiful sunshine. Weather changes very fast here because of the chinook winds and the mountains. Challenging & interesting!π€£ π€
π¬ oops
Oh no! π©π©π©π©
Poor you, how frustrating! At least it happened on a short run rather than a long one. That would have felt even worse!!
Happy running.
... but probably not the last ... I feel your pain, stupidly annoying π€£
I've done that many times on the treadmill but not outside as yet, if you know how far you ran add it in manually via the app.
That would never happen to me as I look at my watch every few minutes π€£π€¦ββοΈ addicted to my Garmin!!!
Flippin βeck...I donβt know whatβs worse...not starting your garmin at all or pausing in the middle say to tie your lace etc and forgetting to restart it...and yes, itβs not the same when you have to add it manually...but you did it Buddy34 ...we believe you ππΌπ
Lol, putting "we believe you" makes it sound like you don't Mummycav ...I do Buddy34 even if MC doesn't ππ
ππππ Don't worry I didn't forget to start it today . I ran a sub 30 at parkrun and I have the proof ππ
It's so frustrating when that happens. I've done that on my park run. Set it all up but didn't look to check it started after pressing the button due to the start mayhem
Lol, good job it wasn't your long run or you'd have had to guess your distance..."Yup, that's the 10K done!" π
Probably won't be the last time you do that either.... Welcome to the club!
