Another week done on Juju. I was going to save buying trainers until the end of the Juju plan but I just went for it today! I saw these Kalenji trainers advertised in women’s running magazine and then went to Decathlon to try them out and purchased them, £29.99!
Running shoes don’t have to be expensive!
How did other runners get on this week?

I went out in my new trainers yesterday lunchtime and they felt so light on my feet and a good cushion of support at the bottom. It's a really good running shoe, designed for road running specifically and I am pleasantly suprised with them.
No I definitely won’t I just have to get a neutral pair and if I ever do tuff mudder I don’t want to wear my best ones have you seen before and after people are absolutely filthy after it looks fun though Xx
Hey rainbow, I didn’t do a gait analysis but I had the help of you tube videos which covered the patterns of wear on your trainers which help identify what your gait is, mine consistently fall in “neutral” gait and I checked this with my friend who has experience from working in a running shop previously. So I don’t have to buy special trainers as such.
I hope you get back to three runs a week soon, take your time and enjoy building up to it again.
