Ran up B**b***s Lane and survived

It's a long time since I tried this route (before flu) and it's been bugging me, because I see it out of my kitchen window, taunting me. So, starting at the bottom, 1.5k of climb straight up the lane, turn left along the road at the top, then back down another lane to the bottom for 5k. An upside down triangle, almost. I took it very very easy going up, and was very tempted to stop and pick the blackberries growing along the lanes. What's the odds they'll be gone when I go blackberry picking? I had to stop a few times to let cars past, and I took a photo on the way back down, so pretty pleased with my 38 minutes. Off to do my stretches now before I forget (again) 😳 Oh, and the best bit is, I feel fine, in spite of numerous niggles before I started.

It's a good feeling, cheeky, I took it very slow. It got a bit tough where it gets fairly steep about two thirds up, but it was all manageable,I felt proud of myself 😊💪🏼
