Another day, another hill

It’s hard to avoid them here! Today I went up from my house into town (the church is just visible on the horizon), then a lovely long gradual descent into the valley bottom. However, after a downhill come a climb and the top view is from the high point at the opposite side of the valley to where I live. I was a bit ambitious and went down into the next valley over, towards the Leeds outer ring road, and then regretted it! Decided enough hills for one day so did two laps of the lake and got my husband to pick me up!! Not the 10k I was hoping for but a good 8.5 was plenty his morning. Hope you all stay cool: it’s getting warm again out there!

Thank you! It’s surprising bang in between Leeds and Bradford: not what people expect of the scenery about a mile from the ring road!
