Rangry is underrated

I had a really tough day at work, and left for home feeling unappreciated and distrusted. One of those situations where you run through all things you should have said over and over.

So I went into this evening's run with a lot anger and frustration. I didn't think it would go well.

Well, I was wrong.

It turned out to be a great run. I just kept on going, and ran 4.4km non stop. A personal best. I think I could have gone on to 5km, but I really didn't want to push it as that would have been a big jump. The last thing I want is an injury before the charity run on Thursday.

So that's it for prep. The next time I put on those sexy knee supports will be for the big event.

Sorry that you have had a bad day but great that you channelled all that energy into a great run. Good luck for Thursday, let us know how it goes!

Fantastic that you turned a negative situation into a positive one, the magic of running :)

Definitely right not to push it before your charity run, but totally with you on the "anger management" qualities of running; it's a great way of clearing the frustrations of the working day from your mind.

I often run home from work and some rangry days I get home a lot quicker than others!

Just seen it as am holiday. Why not say what you would like to have said out loud as you run. I think when you vocalise what you need to say it helps settle your mind, even if those it's directed to aren't there, probably better in a work situation 😵🏃‍♀️🙋‍♀️
