So please with myself, today I ran my first sub 30min 5km run. 5.03km 29.45 min average pace 5'54' per km. I graduated C25K on 5th March and have been running regularly 3-4 times a week since and have managed to get to 10k but still slowly. Then chatting to my sister-in law at the weekend I came up with a plan, to use the Couch to 5k week 1 again but instead of walking and running I jogged at my normal pace, then for the 60 seconds running time, I made myself run faster. I was absolutely shattered at the end of it, reminded me what I felt like whilst doing the C25K. But it worked! And on both my 3 month anniversary of graduating C25k and Global running Day

Well done ClareFC !! That sub 30 is a great achievement ,and I admire the way you did this over a period of 3 months, building on a good solid foundation , one run at a time ! Mrs Fit4life and myself graduated about the same time as your goodself and I,m just building my training schedule to break through to a sub 30 from a current Pb of 30:47.You should be very proud of your sustained efforts and the great results you are acheiving !!
Many congratulations ClareFC - great running!👍😀
