Yes, if only I could limit it to here... everyone I went on tour heard about, actually I think people qt the till at the supermarket hear about it too. When does it become an illness?
Ok you are officially diagnosed with running Touretteβs ππ. I started talking about running to my hairdresser we are facing a mirror I witnessed the eye roll and a sigh! π I bet she was tempted to cut a chunk out of the back! π€¦ββοΈ
I am definitely like this about Parkrun at the moment, I was scouring the results list yesterday and really having to bite my tongue not to talk about every aspect of everything, ditto my run with work colleagues in the week. My poor partner! I like talking about the venue, the people, my run, how I felt.... I think I would have thought I was mad 2 years ago!
Donβt even get me started on PR what an amazing thing! Did my 4th yesterday so Iβm a newbie and annoyingly so, I recon your partner will just be massively proud of you even if like me you tip into being marginally obsessive sometimes πππ
Fantastic! I told a small group of people that I was a C25K graduate. Then someone amongst them mentioned he had run the London Marathon the day before and was a little tired!!! Mentally, I βgot me coatβ.
Hahhah. Yep definitely. I run with a lady at work sometimes.. And I always want to talk running stuff.. ππ If I hear anyone talk running.. I'm there.
Its soooo hard not to talk about it. Especially after I've just don't a run. Saturday night outs I try not to rabbit on about parkrun, but I just can't help it!! π
My surname is Park and I woke in a cold sweat one evening Iβd told a group of people I couldnβt attend something because We were doing a Parkrun... I just suddenly thought maybe they havenβt heard of it and think I refer to our runs as Parkruns .... how embarrassing can you imagine how much of a pretentious twit they must of thought I was π€¦ββοΈ That said Parkrun is amazing!
This is so true CDL, my daughter and I came home following a parkrun and proceeded to talk about every aspect of it for 3 hours π² !!!! according to my husband who patiently listened but won't let us forget it! Addicted ππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
