Knitting as exercise - an update!

In case you missed my initial post I had a PET scan on Friday so exercise was banned on Thursday. That included holding a baby and knitting! I had to ask why. Apparently it’s repetitive actions they want to avoid as that affects the scan. Sorry to disappoint all those who were about to add knitting to their fitness regime. 😆

Good to know. I was hoping to add crocheting (I can't knit; I'm just not coordinated enough for two needles) to my crosstraining 😂. Oh well, I could still use it to help relax me. Maybe I should finish the shawl I started 2 years ago for those cool nights on the boat 🙄.

I’m at starter, not finisher too! I started a blanket for grandchild 3 but it’s not even used by grandchild 6 and she’s a year old!!

I was looking forward to a good cross stitching session, it really gets me warmed up ready for a day!🤣🤣

I never got into sewing. Knitting Arran jumpers - a bit of pattern but no colours to add to your sewing up which I always put off/didn’t do!!

I used it many years ago to keep my hands busy when I was stopping smoking. More useful than vaping!

Yes, hard to make anything useful with clouds of vapour! 😅

Well the things we learn. Who knew 🤷‍♀️😃

My young great nephew, aged just two, has started “knitting” He walks along with imaginary needles, knitting as he goes He is copying his grandma. He looks so cute 😁

Still seems very odd! But now we know, sort of! I do hope that your scan went well.
