Longest run for over a month and first time for about three months that I’ve got over 8k without any knee pain. Hopefully it means the foam rolling and strength work are starting to pay off.
Definitely recommend seeing a physio if you have injuries. I ignored occasional pain in my knee for a few months until I had to abort a run. Was lucky not to escape without any time not running.

I’ve just made an appointment with a physio recommended by a running friend as NHS physio dept isn’t answering their phone or calling back. My ankle/foot hasn’t been right since last Aug and movement is reduced. I’m sure your advice is right so I’m going to heed it! Glad you’re on the mend.
