Just to let you know Healthunlocked are having an internal issue with this part of the forum. This means not everyone is getting an email with the daily posts ( if you have signed up for that) They are working hard to get it sorted for us so please be patient.

Hi Rfc, Thank you so much for being one of the wonderful team behind this superb forum. I appreciate you all so much. Also many congratulations on all your run achievements in the face of difficulties. An inspiration! 😊🏃🏻‍♀️

As this post was about a HealthUnlocked issue, I wonder if I could let you know an issue that I have been having with the site. And I wonder if anything could be done about it.

As I look at my computer screen at the top left I see four icons. Home, Communities, Private Messages and Notifications. It is the notifications one that has changed for me.

I used to be able to view all my notifications, but now I can only view five. If some one clicks like and then also responds, it is really like only being able to view three people's replies. This means that I can miss knowing that someone has responded to a post or a reply of mine. I like to reply to the supportive folk who reply to me, so it would be so good if I could see all my notifications, by scrolling down, as was the case in the past.

I haven't consciously changed any settings concerning notifications.

Do let me know if the current state of seeing only five is how it is now meant to be, if there is anything I could do to make it as it was before or if the HealthUnlocked folk can improve the situation.

Thank you for your kind words.

I have the same as you when I use the drop down menu I only see the last five. I guess I am so used to clicking on the blue see all notifications underneath it I hadent really noticed it was only five. I do think it used to be more.

I will ask them if the changes are permanent I know they have been moving things around a little for the new layout that has officially just been launched. We were the trial for it in C25K but I think the changes in the notifications came before that.

Hi Rfc, Thank you for your response. Would you believe it I can now see the 'See all notifications' phrase in blue? It has been missing so long that I had forgotten how it was that I used to see all my notifications. I wonder whether it is partly to do with folks responses. If the heading parts of their responses that are shown are a certain length, then the 'See all notifications' phrase, is hidden or partly obscured or even in full view.

I hope that I haven't missed it and it has been there all along! I don't think so! At the moment I can see the top two thirds of it, which is enough to click on.

Hi again, As I suggested, now with your new 'liked' and 'responded' replies at the top of my list of notifications, taking up different amount of space compared to the two that have been pushed down, I can't see any of the 'See all notifications' phrase at all. Which is what it has been like for ages except for that brief appearance a bit earlier. Definitely could do with improvement if possible.

Another thought. When I click on the bell for notifications, sometimes the top of the list of notifications, the blue 'See all notifications' phrase flashes up. It literally flashes for less than a second so that it is impossible to click on it. Perhaps the HU folk could make it stay instead of immediately disappearing into the 'ether'!

As I was reading this, my daily digests email arrived. It usually comes at stupid o'clock in the morning, so it looks like the issue may be resolved.

Hi again RFC, My husband found the solution for me. Just zoom out in the view tab!!!! So easy, now I can see the blue phrase! Sorry! I should have realised.
