50 mile challenge in January

Bling arrived this morning! Squeezed over the finish line with 50.8 miles in January. Definitely found it motivational and signed up for February too (only 25 miles this month due to snow and fewer days!)

I’m chuffed to have persuaded my actual running buddy to come out again on Thursday this week for a 20 min jog. She stopped after the Great South last October and the clocks changed. But she shouldn’t take long as she was always a bit quicker than me anyway.

Well done! I am waiting on my one of these to arrive. I have also signed up for February with a challenge of 75 miles got to aim high, it really is great for the motivation

Well done! I do like the monthly medals from that site - they're really classy I loved the compression top I got too. I just managed my 50k challenge (50.0) - diff site - this month, but it was a struggle wtih injury. Not sure I'll make the 100k I signed up for this month unless the injury goes away fast. They are a fantastic motivator though.

Thanks! Agreed, I thought this was 50k then realised it was miles 🤣 I think it has to help keeping me getting out there but I came close to the IC so I’m backing off a bit this month 👍

I'm normally at the back of the pack on our Good Gym group runs, so it's nice to feel a bit proud of an achievement - even though some in the club easily do double that!
