Club Running Part Deux

Very different scenario tonight. For one thing I never run in the evening, or round a track, or with someone telling me what to do.

We started with a few drills then 3-2-1 intervals. 3 minutes at 10K pace, 2 at 5K pace and 1 minute at 1 mile pace with 1 minute recoveries in between. Whole thing three times then some warm down stretches.

Then I ran home and rehydrated with a pint of Boondoggle. I think I shall join the club and get a bit of structure to my training.

Of course my 10K, 5K and 1 mile paces have always been exactly the same up to now but it was fun anyway.

It all sounds so good!!! What's Boondoggle?

It's a beer from my local brewery. I always keep a few in the fridge. Tend to savour the odd pint now rather than the odd gallon. (Might have another one tonight though)

Sounds like an interesting evening, rounded off with some very nice rehydration.

I was just looking at your avatar pic. I’ve always assumed it was you but it looks more like Fenella Fielding, having donned my specs 🤓

Yes the wonderfully talented Fenella.

I must also confess that the picture of the Loris wasn't me neither.
