Stepped into the sun yesterday on wk 3 of B210k unsure of how i would perform.

Had prepared well and was looking to at least complete the run....

Nailed 10.1km which included the 5 minute cool down. ☺☺☺

Thank you FlickM3

Big challenge beyond this distance, i am an insulin dependant diabetic and have a co runner/cyclist with me at all times, was definately running out of stored carbs in the last 2k so will have to plan in a liquid carb/injection stop in order to go beyond. ☺☺☺

Congratulations!!!😃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️❤️

Sounds like you’ve a lot to think about, so well done on getting everything right!

I remember a mountaineering guide friend telling us about the storage of insulin injections for diabetics doing the high altitude Everest marathon...so I guess just about anything is theoretically possible with enough care and planning.❤️

Yep... preparation is key, have a specific diet and have to prepare for each run a day in advance. No rubbish food, no alcohol and water hydration. ☺☺

That’s amazing! And after only 3 weeks. Well done!
