Hi fellow running peeps. After my first post on here last week so much has happened!! On Friday I changed my route a bit and ended up further from home than I thought so had to continue running (obviously π) and ended up running just over 6k!! I was so chuffed to have run so far - and my pace was my best so far too - although I know I will definitely need to slow down for the longer runs.
Then I broke the rule of never running two days in a row and on Saturday I did my first park run - the picture is of myself (very red-faced) and my friend, who has done 58 park runs, as we left the park. It was great - incredibly hot and very busy but I came 126 out of 208 and although Strava lied to me saying Iβd only done 4.7k my official Parkrun time was 31.19 - I know itβs not an exact science but Iβll take it!
And finally this morning I won a Garmin Forerunner 35 on eBay - can things in this world of running get much better than that??
Happy running and take care in this heat guys! πββοΈππππββοΈπ

Sounds like youβve been very busy! Well done! πβ€οΈπββοΈ
Will love to hear how you get on with the Garmin Forerunner 35, as Iβm thinking of that model once the next sales are on. (Iβm useless on eBay!π)
Thank you MD. Iβll definitely let you know - Iβm so excited! Was going to wait and ask for one for Christmas but far too impatient for that π πββοΈ π
Thatβs a good plan. Iβm off on holiday on Sunday for a fortnight so Iβll start my plan when I get back. A virtual challenge is good but wasnβt sure I could manage it this month. Will sign up for Septemberβs I think. X
