So I did my 10 quickly on Tuesday which the stats showed was a real push for my body as I kept the pace up.

Thursday I set out for 5k with the intention of not getting my heart rate above z3 which I suceeded with, keeping my HR between 2 and 3 for the duration.

Yesterday I set out on my 10k route with the intention to cut it short if I felt it was too much but I completed it fairly easily and managed to keep my HR at a rate where certainly Garmin felt I wasn't overdoing things.

I think this is where all this data can really come in useful. πŸ‘πŸ˜

Lovely to see you flying again and with all that techie gear.

I do not fly yet, but maybe one day, when I get my playlist.

Would not know how to carry it all never mind use it. lol.

Pleased the foot coming along nicely and you are back to your running after challenging times.

Take care of you.

All sounds very impressive. Well done you! I am not sure what the heart rate numbers that you mention mean πŸ˜•

Heart rate zones... depending on your age etc it tracks how long you are in each zone (ie how hard your heart is working) zones 5 is max effort which is not good too often as it means you're really going for it. Zone 1 is no effort really at all. 2 and 3 is ideal for both aerobic and anaerobic exercise.

I'm still figuring it all out myself too! Plus different apps Strava / Garmin etc interpret the same data differently too πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

Thank you for your explanation JoJo. Strava doesn't run on my Nokia Lumina, I don't have Garmin and the Run the Map App that I have just down loaded does give splits and elevation and maps, but not heart rate info. Plenty for me for the time being 😊although I do enjoy data and the heart rate info sounds amazing. Developments in technology are astounding to me. All the best for your next runs πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
