If it’s a chest strap youre after, Polar are the most accurate I believe. If a watch, then Polar or Garmin.

I’ve got a polar but I don’t use it My husband thought it was a running watch so bought it for me Not into heart rate stuff myself. if it’s thumping I’m happy

The watch seems good though in the times I’ve used it and they have a polar website for all your stats The only time I’ve used it is for exercise at home to dvds. the battery in the heart rate strap seems to last forever.

Stick it on ebay! I'm happy with the tracker in my Garmin, even if chest strap are more accurate.

I think the chest strap is why I can’t be arsed with it 🙂

I cant imagine they would be comfortable to run in. More use when swimming because most wrist heart trackers don't work under water (my Polar watch did).

Suunto are more reliable than Garmin. But all of them are much of a muchness in accuracy terms, even the cheapo ones from Lidl/Aldi

You can getchest straps from Lidl and Aldi?

well, that's running for you: just when you think you know it all, something comes along and astounds you all over again. Every day a school day

When does one get to the stage of thinking one knows it all? Will my Garmin track it?

probably, but then it will lose the data when you try to upload it and poof! gone like the whisps of a dream on the morning pillow

in reply toRignold

Perhaps I should take a snap with my phone before it evaporates.

post it to Instagram is the only way to make sure it is properly recorded for posterity

Damn, Ive been avoiding instagram - I spend far too much time on social media as it is 😳☹️
