Hello to one and all. Thought I'd introduce myself, just completed the C25K and looking to move forward up to 10K. My intention is to slowly increase the distance whilst maintaining a steady pace, concentrating on distance as opposed to pace initially.

Hello keep it ticking and welcome to the Bridge...

Some familiar faces here...and plenty of experienced advice about moving forward.

Its a really good idea to consolidate that 30 minutes for a few runs then gradually increase one run a week by a minute or so..

Welcome to the other side of 5k.

As Jan suggests, only increase one run per week to start. I tried increasing every run when I first graduated before I realised it was madness.

There are lots of us here who did ju-ju- 's 10 is the magic number plan to get to 10k (think it's in the pinned posts).

Enjoy your running!

It is a six week plan to get you from 5k to 10k with three runs per week of varying lengths.

Look in the pinned posts for those with "10 is the magic number" in the title, weeks 1 to 6.

It worked for me and many others on here.
