I did 7k on Sunday with no phone or watch, just preset route. βTwas hard at times but got there and felt good after, no aching limbs, very happy chappy π....going for 5 miles on Thurs, will record it this time π
Happy running all ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

There was a humourous point during the run. I saw another runner running towards me in the distance and decided Iβd up the pace, as you do, and blow me didnβt he do the same π
Said our good mornings as we passed then back to normal pace lol
Wow, brilliant- very impressed. I am still just consolidating 30 min runs & aiming for a park run.
I love the speeding up for another runner! I had a speed up moment yesterday so I didn't get run over in the dark - I felt like I had another runner's legs for a few seconds. π
Tbh, Iβm surprising myself Elfe5. If youβre feeling good, why not go for it. Iβve registered for a 10K Park Run on Jan 21st so itβs something to aim for... itβs the way I motivate myself π
Go for the Parkrun, youβll be surprised how quick the time goes and, for me, I found it easier having people around me π
Nicely done Ted! Enjoy the journey to 10k, I loved it even more than the journey to 5k. I love the speed up as passing another runner π, I think we've all done that!
I was advised that the thought of doing these longer distances is harder than actually running it...and they were right ...π Believe in yourself, nice and steady.
