So after waking up grouchy and tired with a loud Gremlin shouting in my ear about all the errands I need to do on my day off, I shoved him off my back, put on the tech shirt from my sister-in-law's memorial run, reminded myself this is likely the only day I will get to run until next week thanks to a busy work schedule and got out there and did it. Guess what? It was absolutely fabulous! It was a 6k run I was supposed to do today in my build to 10k. I ran the last 2k faster than the middle 3k, ended on a hill that I powered up easily and felt like I could've continued running (but was smart and listened to the training plan and didn't π). Take that you pesky gremlins!

Gremlins, Get off my back π‘!!!
Awesome Sask! You took those gremlins and shoved them back in the box where they belong! That line on the shirt is right on the money!
Yup, that's why I chose it today. It really helped me through the run. It was a quote my sister-in-law (who was a normal Joe like the rest of us, not some super athlete) said in an interview after she completed her first Ironman. She was an amazing woman whose life was unfortunately cut short due to a cycling accident in Tenerife while training for her dream to get to Kona.
Brilliant. Well done for kicking those gremlins off your back.
Sounds like you had a great run today SaskAlliecat... πthis plan we are doing is working well for me too....
I'm feeling much more confident about the longer runs now are you?...πx
Brilliant! That's a great quote
Fab run. Well done π€
