That's great. I have been reading a lot about interval training. How do you do it? I must admit I get blinded by a list of numbers/ times but don't really get it!

Hi

Well it depends on how hRd you want too push yourself

Basic principles of interval training are to increase your speed endurance

You could start by doing a warm up run of a mile then running hard for a minute then a 90 secs jog recovery followed by 2 mins then recovery then 3 mins etc

Never overdo it particularly at first and gradually increase the number or reps you do

Always warm down though afterwards
