Quarter Marathon Done πŸ˜€

I've just finished week 3 of a My Asics plan for my HM in October. Never stuck to an actual published plan this long before.

I can be slow on the uptake (after all I done lots of these distances and longer) but today's run was 10.5k and I was halfway round before I realised that that's half event distance - hence the quarter marathon πŸ˜€

That's a brilliant milestone ticked off Annie- great going - the HM must be looking achievable now :)

Worksop in North Notts on 30th Oct. I did it last year and it was a good route although a blummin' big hill to start which is welcome at the end as its a nice downhill to finish, rest of the course is 'undulating' 😧 (Only did it because I was told it was flat!πŸ˜€) but good enough route to do again. Good goody bag, nice tech tee and all for Β£20.

Oh that sounds really good ! Well , apart from the big hill , but like you say what goes up must come down :-)

I think I remember you posted the goody bag from last year didn't you ? There was all sorts in it , oh yes, we like a good goody bag :-) xxx

Hi Poppy. The goody bag l posted was from the Clumber Park run, again North Notts in May (first time I worked out how to load a photo) - still working my way through it! That's the run where I took a subscription to Running Magazine as they were giving a "free" Camelback when you did. Used it today and posted how I found it on Noaky's post another gadget.
