And I do. All the time. On Sunday, I ran the farthest I have run, 8. 87 K.

I am not sure where the journey is taking me, but taking me it is, and wherever I end up, I shall be content

Of course.... it might be a Never-Ending Journey

I did 7.3km of mixed run/walk on a 'working' forest's trail paths and loved it

I honestly thought of you quite a lot as I was skipping about the place

Well done for the new distance record - it's all about enjoying the journey rather than the destination itself You've just given me a Limahl ear worm. Pah. Nasty. I'd forgotten that song and now I'm humming it and thinking about that awful spiky blond hairdo. Here's my ear worm revenge: soon you'll be doing a Proclaimers on us and running (rather than walking) 500 miles.

I love bringing such joy to folk!!! Running for 5 miles is tricky enough, but I love the Proclaimers.. oh yes..! They often do a quick run with me...

Talking about an ear worm.. I had the song from The Lego Movie in my head on this morning's run.. Everything is awesome!! But actually, it was!

Fab film! I think I enjoyed it more than my kids ) Have you seen the Scooby Doo one? It got me yearning for a Vera lego figurine, until I saw the price... Sniff. Another childhood heroine that I can't afford in Lego format.

I'm a huge believer in the serendipitous run. The one that just happens; the one that ends up going in a different direct at the last minute or carries on longer than anticipated, just because you could. Not long now to 10k, so just surrender yourself to serendipity and enjoy the view

Now, having said that, I have, if all goes well, planned a 3 K on Friday's run, to see how fast I can run, ( comfortably). it could go one of two ways... as they say, watch this space!
