And I do. All the time. On Sunday, I ran the farthest I have run, 8. 87 K.
I am not sure where the journey is taking me, but taking me it is, and wherever I end up, I shall be content
Of course.... it might be a Never-Ending Journey

That is awesome!!
That's a great distance, well done x
You SO were my inspiration pixie today
I did 7.3km of mixed run/walk on a 'working' forest's trail paths and loved it
I honestly thought of you quite a lot as I was skipping about the place
You really do have the most stunning views on your runs. (and the Never Ending Story was one of my child-hood favourite films :-)).
I knew someone would know!๐ I still love that film....
Yes..I am lucky, but your runs are in a beautiful area too๐
Well done for the new distance record - it's all about enjoying the journey rather than the destination itself You've just given me a Limahl ear worm. Pah. Nasty. I'd forgotten that song and now I'm humming it and thinking about that awful spiky blond hairdo. Here's my ear worm revenge: soon you'll be doing a Proclaimers on us and running (rather than walking) 500 miles.
Oh MF you've gone and mentioned earworms and now my worst nightmare one has spontaneously reactivated itself

Noooooo! The Killers are back in my head, they're relentless...
๐ถMy signs are vital, my hands are cold....๐ถ
Helpppppp....
๐ถAnd I'm on my knees looking for the answer........๐ถ

Thanks..
I love bringing such joy to folk!!! Running for 5 miles is tricky enough, but I love the Proclaimers.. oh yes..! They often do a quick run with me...
Talking about an ear worm.. I had the song from The Lego Movie in my head on this morning's run.. Everything is awesome!! But actually, it was!
Nice there! You in the bushes again floss!๐ I'll have to get the camera out and snap the horses where we run, I've been upto 8k on a club run, but usually stick to 5k ..๐
Definitely a never-ending journey. Do you get to ride your own dragon?
Oh yes..a lucky dragon for the running quest๐
Fantastic distance Oldfloss - I should have congratulated you when I read it on your other post but got distracted by thoughts of Narnia! You are creeping ever steadily upwards and sound as though you are still loving every moment!๐
And now I am picturing you on the back of that big flying dog! ๐
Wheeeeeeee! So ....what are you waiting for..get out there , with your mojo..and follow meโบ
I can tell by every single one of your posts floss that you find joy in the journey.... and it's just fab ๐ค
I forgot to mention that that is a fantastic distance floss, on my other reply , go you, i feel a 10k coming on!๐๐
You are super brilliant!๐
Great work Oldfloss , I see 10k on the horizon ๐
8.87k? All in a day's work for an awesome runner, Floss
Well.. yes, it puzzles me a tad why it is always by luck and not judgement.. although that could be why the distance happens ..
I'm a huge believer in the serendipitous run. The one that just happens; the one that ends up going in a different direct at the last minute or carries on longer than anticipated, just because you could. Not long now to 10k, so just surrender yourself to serendipity and enjoy the view
It is all about the journey Oldfloss and yours looks and sounds amazing โบ
Making greatprogress there Flossy! Isn't it brilliant when it is all going right?
