ha ha! Love it. My hubby just assumes now that I'm going to run wherever we go. He just asks "when are you going for a run?"
Enjoy your holiday and your run.
Ha ha.
My hubby always laughs when I say I'm "just doing an easy 5k". I suppose I'd have laughed at myself this time last year!
I love hearing about people's holiday running adventures - let us know what you get up to ☺Enjoy ☺
So true. I crammed my running gear into my hand luggage earlier this year for a weekend away in Budapest. I'm supposed to be going to Egypt (flights permitting) next month and my running stuff will definitely be in my suitcase. My fella just shrugs his shoulders!
While we were away recently my hubby found the upside to me going out for an early morning run. I came back with a hot flat white coffee for him when I woke him up. He said it was a shame we didn't have a coffee shop near our house he could get used to that sort of pampering.
I plan my hotels around where I can run! If at all possible they need to be near water, either a big river or preferably the sea. If not, I like to run near recognisable touristy places or pretty places so when I look back on Garmin Connect I can look at the satellite map thingy and replay the run Running tourism, it's great.
seriously, going for a run on holiday is THE BEST way to go explore! I loved running around the Alster in Hamburg as I saw all sorts of houses and greenery that I would never have seen, plus all the people watching was great. Came back with a smile on my face after a 7 mile run!
