My Mom at high risk of Breast cancer. Advice needed.

My mother has a lump of around 4.5 cm . We are really worried. After every report result , my mom cried. I cried too but managed not to show infront of her.

Mammography results: Bi-rads 4C

FNAC or needle biopsy: Mammary displasia

Doctor has told us to get it removed and then it will be tested whether it is cancerous or not. We are planning to go to Delhi for treatment. Please suggest which hospital should we proceed to? We have shortlisted Rajiv Gandhi cancer hospital, Gangaram and BLK Cancer hospital. Please share your opinion about the lump and also about hospital to select. I will be grateful. 🙏

FNAC is inconclusive. Let your Oncologist decide. He may Suggest a core biopsy of the lump. And if core biopsy not feasible, may advise excision of the lump.

Thank you for your reply. We are proceeding with further treatment. Just need suggestions about good hospitals or doctors.

There are lots of good doctors and good hospitals in Delhi. All hospitals you have quoted are good. Don’t worry. Just see with which doctor you feel comfortable and go ahead.
