Please suggest.. my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer HER2 in 2018

She was under chemotherapy 6 cycle and radio therapy for 25 days (Mon to Fri). From past 1 week she had severe cough and fever in scan we found there's pleural effusions in her lungs. Doc doubt it may be cancer spread or TB. Don't know how to take this.

Let your doctor take the next steps. In most likelihood, the fluid will be removed and sent for testing. Depending on other things that the doctor notices, he may advise other investigations as well. These tests will show whether the fluid is due to cancer or TB.

Your family must be disturbed, I understand. Don’t worry, just follow what your doc says and go ahead and do it.
