Breast cancer with skin involvement

My mother has been diagonised cancer,FCNA Test ,Carcinoma confirmed.

Ultra Sound test,it is mentioned carcinoma with skin invovment but underlying muscles are normal ,lymph node not palpable.

Some body told me,breast cancer with skin involvement, is type of cancer,having poor survival rate

Pl. Reply immediately , is it true?

I understand your anxiety, but the information you have is only tip of the iceberg.

You need to have a proper Consultation with an Oncologist, proper clinical evaluation is needed, further investigations to rule out further spread are needed.

Few further information on different receptors like ER/PR/Her2 are also needed.

When clinical, radiological and histological features are all available can an Oncologist give you rough estimate (on an average) how aggressive or passive a cancer behaviour is going to be.

Make enquiries about a good cancer centre near your place. Seek second opinion if your Oncologist does not give u adequate time and attention .
