advise on wearing jewelry on the operated side hand

the doctor has advised my mom not to wear any jewellery throughout life on the hand from the side where her breast has been removed along with the lymph nodes. Why is that so. What can be the reason?

i m also advised specially using ring cause the fluid does not pass through it soon and for that exercise is to be done. if some day there is less exercise the ring my stuck and it will be very difficult as the hand is some what less or more swelling on that hand.

the jewellery which opens and it is to be weared like some watches or bracelets can be weared but as soon as feel uncomfortable it is to be removed.

i have notices swelling on the hand when i get up in morning time

and that is the reason i think

It is advisable not to wear tight jewellery on the arm. If you are wearing something loose, it should not be a problem
