liv 52 in the daily intake

a doctor friend told me that liver would be affected in the chemo cycles. so the patients are generally advised to take liv 52 and lots of dates everyday. Is this correct information? my medical oncologist did not say anything abt diet. He jst told me to discuss with a dietician.

Hi napra I would also like to know this - as my sister is also eating dates as a normal understanding is that it improves the HB. But not confirmed by any dietician or the oncologist

i was also told by people to take dates. i have started doing it. i wish to get clarification on dates, as well as Liv 52 tablets.

I was also told by my Doctor friend to take Liv52 tab and dates during chemo and it helps me a lot. It is normal understanding that it improves HB.
