My swollen lymph nodes brought me to my OBGYN on Jan 1st, 2018. Been on a roll ever since. I'm running the full gamete. Had 4 rounds of Red Devil (Adrimycin & Cytoxan) over a two month span. Followed by 12 weeks of Taxol & Carboplatin. I will have my new prognosis on Aug 3rd & schedule surgery to have a partial mastectomy and all of my lymph nodes removed on the affected side. Followed by 35 rounds of radiation everyday (exc w'ends) It's all been do-able. I worked through this entire treatment plan. Having only 3 more rounds of Chemo to go, I had a hick up! Tooth infection. I stayed in close contact with my Oncologists & made the decision to have the tooth extracted as it was an abscessed. Can not take Amoxicillin & do Chemo at the same time. Priorities... Outside of this, swollen nodes here, toe nails fallen off there~ hair be gone etc... Many, many things to remain grateful for not enduring. It's all in the mind & your attitude~Listen to your body! Know that there are NO two cases the same & everyone's mental & health issues reactions are different. I'm happy to answer any questions if I can be of help~This is a unique experience for all of us & I too am hoping to learn from others.

YOU are doing awesome, Lady and that positive attitude will kick cancers butt. Congratulations, to me the red devil was the hardest part.

Good day, you are very strong and have a good attitude. I too, had partial mastectomy with 14/30 positive lymph nodes. I had my mastectomy first, followed by 8 rounds of chemo. Starting with the red devil. I am currently undergoing my 35 rounds of rad, the first 5 were a boost. Prior to starting my radiation, I had a PETSCAN which showed no signs of disease! The radiation is just for insurances. With a positive attitude, you too can overcome this ordeal. The process is long but soo worth it for future life. Best wishes, Debaroo!

I am still awaiting treatment plan , found these posts so inspiring. I would like whatever treatments I need to be a necessary part of my life but not my whole life. I’m hoping to carry on working and doing the other ‘stuff’ that makes me me and now feel , hell yes I can do this !!! So a massive thank you and big hugs to all. Carolyn
