No it is not normal. Ring them up and ask them, I do after a week and so far have had 5 biopsys and waiting for another. The consultant told me last week the results would be about a week x

Good morning, thks for getting back to me. I had a call from the clinic late yesterday. I'm now getting ready to go in and get the full pathology and MRI results. Time now for the BiG conversation 😕

Update. Surgery scheduled for 26 Feb. Lumpectomy and Sentinel lymph node biopsy. I've to have a echocardiogram and a marker on the breast. Chemo and radiotherapy to be discussed after surgery. I'll be out on hormone therapy. A night or two on the HDU because of other health issues.A step in the right direction!

Well at least its a lumpectomy and not a full mastectomy, which sounds better. As someone on here said this week, the wait is worse than the op and what comes next. Get a couple of good books, a nice lotion (I used the H2k cucumber body lotion, for after radiotherapy) paracetamol and ibruprofen and a little pillow to put in between your boobs. I'd advise the Marks & Spencer bra too...no wires, a thick band underneath, fasten it from the front and swivel it around. I found the front fastening ones cut me under the arms where they take the lymph node out and Good Luck xx

Sorry I took so long to reply. Thank you for the tips. I bought several bras when preparing for my heart surgery so will use those. I have a combination of front and back fastening.I hope all is good with you 🙏💕
