Biopsy

Hi I'm New to this forum 😀. After finding a lump in 2010 I was diagnosed with Grade 2 B.C . I have had yearly mammograms and continued on Tamoxofen. I just had a call yesterday from the hospital saying I need a biopsy. The lady couldn't give me any information. So scared it's back. Biopsy 1st if April .

Is this a biopsy following a mammogram, if so the hospital are ok with leaving a gap of just over a week before your appt (I had a couple of days notice), so maybe it's just more precautionary but that won't stop you worrying, all I can do is keep everything crossed it's not the one thing we all fear and send best wishes your way xxxxx

Yes it was after my yearly mammogram I've been clear so far for 9years. It was just a shock when the hospital rang but couldn't give me any information as she was just booking the appointment. Thanks for replying I'm going to ring the breat cancer nurses tomorrow x

I had my yearly mammogram but I don't know which breast.i understand that I will have to wait it's just scary. I've been clear 9years. Thanks for replying x

You could ring the Breast Care Nurses tomorrow to ask if there’s someone you can discuss this with further. Keep us updated.

I know it’s hard not to worry. Look at it this way: they don’t know what it is, so need the biopsy to rule out suspicion ❤️

Be kind to yourself. Perhaps it’s a reminder to take the opportunity to look after yourself with all the nice things that you wanted to do but got put off when everyday life got in the way!!

I remember I once got totally freaked out at having to repeat a mammo and was even crying in the waiting area. It turned out to be nothing. How embarrassing!!

So had my appointment today with hospital. Doctor said she had found a small lump so had 3d mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. Lump very small so if it is back then caught early. Just the wait for results x

Had my results today and it's back again. Have to have CT scan to see if only in breast then a mastectomy. Gutted but it's small so early caught x
