Denosumab (Prolia) injection - has anyone had any experience with it?

Hi I haven't posted for a while. I had breast cancer back in May 2014 and had a total mastectomy and lymph node removal. Although at the time no mets were found at a later CT scan a "shadow " was found on my spine (this was about 18 months ago). A PET scan revealed it was not active and my oncologist said to go back to him if I back pain which I did today.

He has said to start on these injections to one help with the pain and also as I'm on anastrozole, to help with my bone density. I'm also going to be rescanned - again!!

Has anyone else been in a similar situation and/or had these injections?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post xx

Hi Dmhaynes. I have been on these injections since January. The first 3 months I didn't seem to have any problems. I cannot really say since then as I had to go back on chemo but I don't think they have caused me any problems. Hopefully you will be ok. Good luck xx
