your weekend sounds fab, loving your approach to life.
Poor girl! I can't afford crumbling teeth, I don't have enough left as it is! Sounds like you are enjoying life as well as you can. Go girl, you've been through so much! β€β€β€πΊ
Thanks Jacbowden. Hope all is going well for you too. I have my 3 monthly check up on the 30 March. Please God if all is good I will be going into six monthly visits πππ
I just had my first scan after the four chemo sessions. They had me booked in for another this week, which I declined pending scan results. Lungs were clear, liver tumours reduced down to five percent. This was just info from a phone call, the oncologist rang to give me the 'good' news. I see him in person next week. But as his intern had already informed me scans don't show up cancer stem cells, which chemo cannot kill, I was non plussed to be honest. I'm keeping off chemo for a while to see how fast it comes back, meanwhile I'm going with Rick Simpson's intense oil regime.
I shall be keeping my fingers crossed for you as you get your periodic check ups Lainey. πππβ€
I was reading about his oil regimes and am quite interested in how you get on. I still have residual cells which scans can't pick up etc but they are found in bloods. Like you, we are keeping an eye on their growth/increase in activity. It is getting my hands on the necessary ingredients that is a problem π³π³
Hi there have been wondering how things were going for you - been thinking about you - hugs Louise π€ xx
Hi Louisejr. I have been away for a few days but also took a bit of a break from being online. Just a battery recharge. All is fairly good at the mo (bar the teeth π³) hope all is going well for you xxx
You are looking so well in this photo Lainey - nobody would know your medical history if you chose not to tell them!
My dentist in the usa made a mouth guard that I now sleep with. No more crumbling teeth. Ask your dentist to make one for you.
Hello Lainey, you look fabulous in that photo. Your hair is coming back really well. I had three teeth pulled last year - nothing to do with my diagnosis, just gum problems. Broke my heart at the time, felt I was showing my age ....ahem....almost 51 now. Where ever that photo was taken, it looks beautiful and the weather not too bad. I hope you enjoy every second mdear you deserve it and so does hubby, much love, Jackie xxx
Thank you Jackie. We were in Killarney at the weekend having a spa break. That was taken just by Ross Castle. I am 51 this year too and trying not to feel it ... πππ I keep telling myself 50 is the new 30 ππ I hope all is going well with you. Xxxx
Anyone on yearly Aclasta for the bones. I'm on arimidex 5 years now. Its a big procedure for me to have a tooth removed due to the aclasta, I had 1 removed last year, all went well with that.
Beautiful place glad to hear you had a good time hope you are doing as well as you look x
