Vibro plate. Can we use them

Can I just ask if anyone uses a vibro plate, at gym or at home, I'v got one but un shore if it's safe to use, I'm four years in recovery so thought might be able to use it now, oncologist haven't herd of them so couldn't give me an answer??

If that's the same as a power plate, the answer is NO, not sure if that's for the rest of your life or a period of time, reason being if there were to be a minuscule bit of cancer in your body, the vibrations may stimulate it and it may start growing, I'm going to my gym on Friday, if I remember I'll ask then and let you know if it's for life or a certain number of years

I used one both before and after my treatment and 5 yrs down the line am fine. I don't believe the bs about it spreading cells.

hey, i'm not sure sure of the answer but could be worth giving macmillan or breast cancer care a call/ ask on one of their forums.xxx

Hi Footprints, just back from gym, I asked the instructor I'm working with on the Energise, cancer rehab exercise scheme who is level 4 qualified meaning he can help cancer patients, and he said he'd never let a cancer patient use a power plate, hope that helps x
