Hi I'm new here was diagnosed stage 1 grade 3 negative cancer in May 2014 , I'm was 46 came completely out of the blue , I had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiotherapy, I find it hard now as I don't see doctors now and I'm coming up to my second mammogram in May but staying positive

Hi there I know exactly how you feel when you go through treatment you are with people in the same boat whereas now you waiting until the next mammogram . Are you taking tamoxifen ? I feel these tablets have lost my personality some days xx

Stay positive stay strong.... don't you go for a yearly check up??? I had my op in aug 2006 and go for a check up every October this year will be my last one and I,ll be discharged and stop taking tamoxifen 😊

Good luck to you and well done , I long for the day of taking this last tablet 😉have threatened to stop taking tomoxfin , never have , I have done five years !

Well done for staying positive. Think of it this way - your not seeing them as all of good. If you were seeing them then things would not be too good xc

Hi All😊

I also found a lump in 2014, it was grade 3 too. I had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiotherapy but wasn't prescribed any medication. Treatment finished about a year ago.

I was already coping with Cerebellar Ataxia, so it was like a double whammy🙄

(I'm also a member of AtaxiaUK)

My first mammogram wasn't as bad as I expected, the radiographer was lovely and took her time😊xB
