7 weeks scan ❤️

I have booked an early scan for the 26th of June when I’m assuming I will be 7 weeks, what should I expect to see & is this done abdominally?

Mine was done transvaginal and to be honest I couldn’t see a great deal but I got visualisation of heartbeat which was amazing for me. Plus picture to take home.

It will be transvaginal at 7 weeks. Baby will just be a round blob but if you’re lucky you’ll see a heartbeat but I think they say 8 weeks before they really expect to see a heartbeat so don’t panic if you don’t x

No, not when it’s transvaginal x

Although I’m just thinking....if it’s a private scan and not NHS it might be abdominal. I’d phone and check cos you would need a full bladder for that.

I had a scan at 7 weeks and it was external. Couldnt see a huge amount, looked like a blob of white but could see the heart beat nice and strong 🥰
