Giving birth at the Rosie/Addenbrookes

Hello,

Has anyone recently given birth at the Rosie at Addenbrookes in Cambridge? If so, please could you describe your experience.

Does the delivery unit have a pool too? How many pools does the delivery unit have and do they benefit from mood lighting like the Birthing Centre? Are the birthing centre and delivery unit on the same floor and how easy is it to get transferred from the Birthing Centre to the delivery unit, if required?

Also, how dilated should you be before you get into water? I’ve heard if you get in too early it can slow down the labour process.

Thanks in advance for your help. Xx
