I'm 17 years old and I've had my period for 3 years and it's always been normal. I am sexually active and I'm not on any contraceptives but we are always very very careful and I do not think I could be pregnant. But last month I got my period as usual then 2 weeks later I got a heavy period again and then i missed my period this month. What could be going on with my body?

Any vaginal sex can lead to pregnancy. The only way to 'be careful' is to use contraception. Don't forget that being careful also means protecting yourself from STIs so you should consider barrier contraception. Take a pregnancy test to double check, and see your Dr or go to a sexual health clinic for a check up and advise.
