I’m 10 weeks pregnant and had a headache since yesterday, I’m trying to call my community midwives but they’re not picking up. Along with this I have morning sickness which lasts all day till bed time. It’s not so much being sick I’m wretching A lot and when I go to the toilet to be nothing comes out.
Can anyone advise what I can do about my headache, I’ve been using a 4 head stick on my head which lasts an hours or so, and I’ve been sent from work today, can I take paracetamol are there any other tips that might help?
Thanks in advance xx

You Can take paracetamol as for sickness you may need anti sickness meds but your midwife can't give them you. They will tell you to see the gp. Been there twice now unfortunately.
Hi I know this was posted 8 days ago and I hope you’re feeling much better. I’m 12 weeks tomorrow and last week I had awful headaches all week and the three weeks before that I’ve had brutal morning sickness. Just like you describe. All day long. It’s starting to even out now (unless I spend too much time in the sun). I’ve read up and contacted my Gp. It’s unfortunately just the luck of the draw for some women and can be bad especially in first pregnancies. You just have to keep fluid intake up, eat small amounts often of whatever you can manage. Doesn’t have to be all salad. Lol. Give yourself plenty of rest. Take time off work if you need to. I also had dizziness so watch for that. Hope this helps. Xx

Also you can take paracetamol. Start with just one. (They didn’t help me to be honest) and the gp can presribe you anti sickness tablets but some Gps opt to only do that if there’s signs of dehydration.
