Failed medical abortion

Hi

I recently had a medical abortion i was 7 weeks pregnant when I had the tablets it was a hard desicion to make and this was due my partner having mental health issues. I took the 2nds pill inserted them and didn't bleed for a good 7 hours to which I filled one pad and passed two things when I went to the loo which I thought one was the sac but I didn't look I then didn't bleed at all. I did the test BPAS gave me 2 weeks later and their was a very faint line which I thought it may just mean i have hormones in me 4 weeks and 3 days after taking the first pill a pregnancy test is coming up positive has anyone experienced this am I still pregnant or is it just hormone. Help please

Hi, I had the same problem. It turned out I still had products of conception. I went back to the clinic who prescribed the tablets they scanned me and said they couldn’t see anything. I went to my gp who referred me to the hospital who did blood tests and scans. I had to have an operation to remove the rest of the pregnancy.

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that must of been horrible. I've got an appointment booked in for this Friday I was just trying to figure out what it maybe and if it didn't work. Thank you x

I had a positive result called boss who gave me two options either send another test or go get scanned so went to get scanned but noting there at all maybe a little retained sack but no pregnancy lady said it would go with next period
