Leg cramps pregnancy 🤰

Hi everyone, looking for some advice I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and I have been experiencing a lot of leg cramps. The cramping only last a couple of minutes but I find it difficult to move when the cramps appear. Is there anything I could do or eat that may help with this issue?

Please note this is my second pregnancy 🤰

Congratulations! In around second week some women do develop specific symptoms - there's nothing to worry about it. Sometimes it's more than the fatigue or nausea. Sadly, I didn't get that far yet but I've seen my sister get terrible food cravings in late pregnancy. Some women in the clinic were discussing the other day about a similar thing like yours, so I'll just tell you what I heard from them as a remedy. A hot compress is an option but it's even better if you can dip your legs in hot water when you get that pain. Also, make sure to add a support when you sleep or sit on the sofa by tucking a light but fluffy pillow under the leg muscles be it with or without the pain. Hope this helps!! :)
